Hey! Welcome back to Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show!

It's Stories week, and Tonight, we return to the story of Mia the space explorer and her new friend! She’s helping him find his way back home!  But there’s a problem -- there’s a tornado heading their way!

Pick a side on the top of your mouth, and make circles all over the inside, the outside and the chewing side of each tooth.

3...2....1… BRUSH!

The tornado was picking up speed! Mia had to act quickly. She grabbed the little guy’s hand.

M: Hold on tight!

Mia pressed a small red button on her suit.

M: Time to use my jetpack! [WOOSH SFX]

They lifted up into the air and sped toward Mia’s spaceship. They made it back, climbed in, and SLAMMED the spaceship door.

M: That was close!

B: [DEEP VOICE] (relieved)

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth.

[SFX Switch Bell]

Make sure you’re brushing circles over EACH TOOTH!

Back on the spaceship… Mia could see her new friend was feeling home sick.

B: (sad sigh)

M: Don’t worry buddy. We’ll get you home.

Mia pulled up a map and found another planet.

M: Hmm… Helios…? Never been there before. What do you say? Wanna check it out?

B:(happy sounds)

M: Alright, Let’s go!

Give your tongue a brush (SFX), and then switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth. (SFX Switch Bell)

Helios is a planet full of HELIUM!  Helium is the gas in balloons that makes them float!

As they landed, Mia turned to her friend and asked ...

M: (HIGH PITCHED) So does this look like … [GASP]

Mia stopped talking -- her voice was all squeaky and high!

MIA: Oh! The helium here on Helios is making my voice sound strange! This place is ridiculous.

And then, the little blue guy said ...

B: [LAUGHS] It makes YOUR voice sound ridiculous, but this is my home!

M: Woah! You sound different!

B: Yes! This is how I sound on Helios!

Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard (SFX)

B: I tried to tell you before, but the other planets lacked the appropriate chemical composition to facilitate proper communication.

M:   What does that mean?

B: Ah, I need helium to speak normally.

M: Oh….

Just then, they were interrupted by happy shouts!

ALIENS: Welcome back! We were worried sick!

More small blue feathery creatures appeared.

B: Ah, Friends! I’ve been on such an adventure!

Mia smiled, and climbed back onto her ship to continue exploring.

That’s it for Chompers tonight!
