Welcome back to Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.
Pick a side on the top of your mouth, and start brushing every tooth all the way to your molars!
3, 2, 1 Brush!
(SFX)
It’s Jokes week on Chompers, and tonight we are giggling about galaxies and cackling about constellations with our SPACE jokes! Ready?!
>> KIDS: Yes!!!
>> Rachel: Here’s your first joke:
Knock knock
>> KIDS: Who’s there
>> Rachel: IO?
>> KIDS: IO who?
>> Rachel: I only wanted to tell you about Jupiter’s moon, IO! (SFX RIMSHOT)
Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard.
IO is one of the 69 moons we have discovered so far around Jupiter. What’s cool about IO is that it’s covered in active VOLCANOES! (SFX VOLCANO)
Here’s your next joke:
What do you call a Martian Dog?
>> KIDS: I don’t know.
>> Rachel: A Mars Rover.
(SFX rimshot & Dog)
Sometimes we name dogs Rover -- but it’s also what scientists call the robots that we send to Mars! Right now they’re using a rover named Curiosity!
Give your tongue a brush (SFX TONGUE BRUSH) and Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth.
Here’s another space joke:
Which planet has the best taste in music?
>> KIDS: I don’t know.
>> Rachel: NepTUNE (SFX rimshot)
(SFX record scratch)
Neptune is a gas giant, just like Jupiter and Saturn. Neptune also has a giant spot like Jupiter’s called the Great Red Spot. Neptune’s is called the Great Dark Spot. And just like on Jupiter, Neptune’s spot is a storm.
Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth (SFX), and make little circles around each tooth.
Here’s your last joke:
Why do astronauts live in the country? (SFX Country music)
>> KIDS: Why?
>> Rachel: Because there’s plenty of space
(SFX Sad trombone)
That’s it for Chompers tonight. We hope you’re over the moon with our space jokes! Until tomorrow, make sure to rinse and
>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit! (SFX)
