Hey! Welcome back to Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show!
Tonight our story takes place in the body of a kid named Alex. Alex has allergies. Walter the white blood cell and Histamine are on the case. But even though histamine is trying help, he’s actually making things worse. Alex’s nose is running like crazy.
Before we get on with the rest of the story, let’s get brushing! Pick a side on the top of your mouth, and make circles all over the inside and outside of each tooth.!
3...2....1… BRUSH!
Histamine was jumping around inside of Alex’s nose, splashing in the snot that the booger blaster had released.
Walter didn’t know what to do -- how could he get his sidekick to calm down?!
WALTER: Histamine, please stop, you’re making Alex feel worse!
HISTAMINE: (laugh) No way Walter, I’m having way too much fun!
Alex continued to sniffle and sneeze.
Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, making sure to brush all the way back to your molars.
Alex’s mom heard Alex blowing his nose and peeked into his room. [Nose blowing SFX]
ALEX’S MOM: Hey kiddo, I hear you sneezing and blowing your nose. It sounds like your allergies are bothering you.
ALEX: Yeah …
ALEX’S MOM: Ok, here some allergy medicine. That should help.
ALEX: (sniff sniff) Thanks mom!
Alex’s mom handed him an pill and a glass of water and he gulped it down. SFX
Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth, and make sure you brush the inside, the outside, and the chewing side of each tooth.
Inside of Alex’s nose, Walter continued to try to quiet down Histamine.
HISTAMINE: [splashing and laughing maniacally]
Just then, ANNA appeared!
WALTER: Who are you?!
ANNA: I’m Anna -- I work for the medicine that Alex’s mom gave him. I’m here to help!
WALTER: Thank goodness! Histamine is out of control!
HISTAMINE: [LAUGHS] I’m not out of control! I’m just having fun! And you can’t stop me!
Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and don’t forget those front teeth.
Anna smiled at Histamine and spoke to him softly
ANNA: Histamine. You are so tired.
HISTAMINE: [YAWNING] No I’m not.
ANNA: When I count to three, you will fall asleep! 1 . 2. 3!
HISTAMINE: [LIGHT SNORE]
Histamine fell into a deep sleep and the snot stopped running out of Alex’s nose.
The two heroes gave each other a very quiet high five, as Histamine loudly snored.
HISTAMINE: (snores)
(whispered) That’s it for Chompers tonight .... all that’s left to do is 3 - 2 - 1 SPIT!
