>> Rachel: Welcome back! It’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

It’s Snacks Week. And tonight we’re sharing more of the foods you crave and dishing about which snacks are your fave.

Pick a side on the top of your mouth on one side, and brush in little circles around each tooth.

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Rachel: You Chompions LOVE PEANUT BUTTER. Ava likes peanut butter pretzels. And Phoenix likes to eat peanut butter bars. (SFX CRUNCH)  Sadie’s favorite peanut butter treat is a FLUFFERNUTTER!

>> ZAC: A Fluffer-whater?

>> Rachel: A fluffernutter. Its a sandwich stuffed with peanut butter and spreadable marshmallow topping.

(SFX COOL!)

Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth, and brush your front teeth.

>> Rachel: Some of you Chompions have a serious sweet tooth for sugary snacks.

Molly likes funnel cakes, the doughy dish you find at carnivals. Inara loves to chow down on a KING sized candy bar. Cadence and Marquam can’t get enough Oreo cookies. And Maddie will eat any kind of chocolate!

Zinnia sent in a solid snack tip. She says birthday parties are loaded with sugary snacks like cakes and cupcakes!

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and keep brushing.

Our Chompion Scout loves popsicles. Hey Scout, did you know that popsicles were invented...by accident?

(SFX: WHAT)

When Frank Epperson was a kid he left a glass with a drink outside overnight in the cold . When he went back to get it, the drink was frozen (SFX FREEZE) and a stick he’d left in the glass to stir the drink was stuck inside! He popped the stick out of the glass, and voila! (SFX TADA) Frank made the first POPSICLE.

Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and but don’t brush too hard.

>> Rachel: Lots of you Chompions -- like Evie, Holly and Lillian --  like S’mores! This campfire treat is made by sandwiching a chocolate bar and toasted marshmallow in between two graham crackers (SFX YUM) is a big hit with you guys!  Your grownup can make smores indoors-- you can wrap your smore in tin foil and put it in the oven to get all melty and gooey!

That’s it for Chompers tonight. Until next time,

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!!
