[THEME SONG BEGINS]

>>RACHEL: Welcome back, it’s time for Chompers! Your twice daily toothbrushing show.

Our friend Jasmine is here with more answers to your questions.

Start brushing on the top of your mouth. Pick a side, and brush in little circles around each tooth.

>>KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

[THEME SONG ENDS]

>>RACHEL: Take it away Jasmine.

>>JASMINE: Thanks! Hi Aaron.

>>AARON: Hi Jasmine.

>>JASMINE: It's Your Questions Week on Chompers. And we're kind of stuck on a question so I thought you might be able to help since you know, like, every little thing.

>>AARON: Well I help produce Every Little Thing, but I can give it a try.

>>JASMINE: oh the show Every Little Thing!! Great! Alright. So who’s asking our first question?

NIKKI: I’m Nikki, from Beltsville Maryland, and I wanna know why bird poop is white.

>>JASMINE: Switch on the other side of the top of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>JASMINE: -and don’t brush too hard.

>>AARON: Ok so, the white you see in bird poop is not poop.

>>JASMINE: Then what is it?

>>AARON: Its pee! Well if you think of the perfect bird poop in your mind - the kind of bird poop we all think of when we think of bird poop -  there's a white part - that’s the bird pee -  and a brown part that’s the bird poop.

>>JASMINE: So what we think is bird poop is actually both bird pee and bird poop.

>>AARON: That's right..See birds just have one hole for everything. It's called the cloaca.

>>JASMINE: So birds pee and poop out of the same place.

>>AARON: At the same time.

>>JASMINE: And the pee comes out white cause that’s what bird’s body do

>>AARON: Yeah, that’s right.

>>JASMINE: Switch to the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>JASMINE: and make sure you brush your front teeth. Ok, I’ve got one more quick question for you! This one is from Benny!

>>AARON: Let’s do it!

>>BENNY: How do penguins walk on snow?

>>JASMINE: Ok so How do penguins walk on snow???

>>AARON: Wow. Another great question. It's pretty tough right walking on snow. You ever tried walking on ice?

>>JASMINE: Yeah it's really slippery.

>>AARON: That's right. And penguins aren't exactly suited for the job. They have webbed feet and short legs. It's not exactly perfect for running across the snow. So they waddle.

>>JASMINE: Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>JASMINE:  and give your tongue a brush, too.

>>AARON: And waddling is just like taking short steps while you rock your body side to side like. It might look goofy but it's actually genius. And an additional fact. Did you know that Penguins have knees?

>>JASMINE: Nooo.

>>AARON: It's true. They're just hiding underneath that fat and feathers but their legs are a lot like ours. They have little penguins knees.

>>JASMINE: Aaron you know a lot about birds!
