>>RACHEL: It’s Everybody Week, and today we’ve got some True or False for you!

I’ll give you a fact about disability, and if you think it’s true…

[DING]

Ready for your first one?

No two people are the same.

[DING]

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth too.

Everyone is different, but sometimes those differences are easier to see than others. People might notice right away if I walk with crutches, but everyone has SOMETHING that makes them different. [SWITCH BELL]

>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard.

[MUSIC ENDS]

>>RACHEL: Ready for your next true or false? Okay. Here it is.

Over 1 BILLION people have some type of disability.

[DING]

>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

Over 1 billion people have some kind of disability. That makes having a disability more common than having blue eyes!

There’s a good chance you or someone you know might have a disability, or that you’ll meet someone who does. It is a very common thing! It’s also common for people to have more than one type of disability.
