>> Rachel: Good morning, it’s time for Chompers, your twice daily toothbrushing show.

Start brushing on the top of your mouth. Pick a side, and brush in little circles all the way around each tooth

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Rachel: It’s Cities Week, and today we’re gonna get you giggling with some funny, city jokes.

Here’s your first one:

Where do horses live in the city?

>> Kids: Where?

>> Rachel: The horse naaaaaaaaaaayyyyborhood...

Get it? The sound the horse makes is called a neigh. Like in neighborhood.  Horses also WHINNY and SNORT. But there’s no such thing as a whinny-  borhood or snort-borhood.

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and brush the molars in the back too.

Ok, here’s your next joke:

Where in the city can people go when they’re feeling low?

>> Kids: Where?

>> Rachel: DOWNtown.

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth.

When people feel a bit low or sad they might say they feel down. But DOWNTOWN has nothing to do with feeling sad! Remember, downtown is the commercial - or business center - of a city. A lot of people go downtown to work or to shop. It’s a very busy place - usually there are tons of buses, cars, and people buzzing around.

Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard.

Here’s one last joke before you go:

What did the person do when his apartment was too small?

>> Kids: What?

>> Rachel: He moved into a WHOLEment

>> Kids: I dont get it

>> Rachel: A WHOLE thing is bigger than a part of that thing so he moved into a WHOLE-MENT, not just an A-PART-MENT. Get it?

That’s it for Chompers today, but if you need more silly city jokes, come back tonight. Until then, rinse with water before you

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!
