>> Rachel: Welcome back! It’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

Start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, and make sure to brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth.

>>KIDS: 3, 2, 1 Brush!

>> Rachel: I hope you’re hungry because we’re going BANANAS over the wild and tasty treats you guys eat!

Daphne sent us our first weird food - DANDELION. Isn’t that a flower? Yep, it is!

Some people think of dandelions as a pesky weed that can grow in your yard. Dandelion leaves are sometimes used in salads or in tea, and some people use the flower as a medicine for upset stomachs!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and make sure to brush in little circles around each tooth.

The next wack-y snack comes from Charlie - Say HELLO to JELLO! Jell-O is a dessert that comes in flavors like cherry, strawberry, orange, lemon or lime.

Jello is a wiggly wobbly food (SFX WIGGLING) and you can see right through it! But Jello starts as a POWDER!  When you add water and let the Jello cool in the fridge, it starts to get wiggly!

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and keep on brushing!

Here’s another one from Otto. It’s SEAWEED the slimy plant that grows along the seashore and in the ocean. Seaweed is a SUPERFOOD. That means it’s PACKED with vitamins and minerals to keep you healthy.

But seaweed isn’t just for snacking or sushi! You can use it to make toothpaste, soap, and shampoo.

Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and don’t forget the molars in the way back.

This next wacky food is from Matea (Mah- Tay-yah) and Taylor (Tay-ler) … it’s BUGS!

Crickets, grasshoppers, and beetles are all insects that people eat! (SFX SMALL CRUNCH). If you’re ever offered a chance to try crickets, you should go for it! Crickets are full of protein, a nutrient in food that helps you grow.

Before you finish brushing, here’s a joke to chew on:

What do you call a bug that likes to cut up its food?

>> KIDS: I don’t know

>> Rachel: A Grass-Chopper.

That’s it for Chompers. Great job brushing. Until next time, make sure you rinse and...

>>KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!
