[THEME SONG BEGINS]

>> RACHEL: Hi there! It’s time for more Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

Start on the top of your mouth on one side, and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

[THEME SONG ENDS]

>> RACHEL: It’s Senses Week, and tonight we have more I spy for you! I’ll SPY something and you have to guess what sense it is.

Here's your first one:

Wow I’m inside an eye. The light from the outside world is coming into the eye, and hits the back of the eye, called the RETINA

[LAZER ZAP]

And the tiny cells that live in the retina send electrical messages to the brain.

[COMPUTER BEEPS]

>> RACHEL: What is happening? What is the eye doing??

[MUSIC BEGINS]

>> RACHEL: Find out after you switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>> RACHEL: -and brush the molars in the back too.

So, what do I spy?

>> GROUP: An eye seeing!

>> RACHEL: Eyes give the sense of SIGHT! The brain turn the electric messages sent by the eye…

[ZAPS}

>> RACHEL: -into a MOVING picture with colors and shapes. That moving picture is what WE SEE!

Switch to the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>> RACHEL: -but don’t brush too hard.

Here’s your next I Spy:

[MUSIC ENDS]

>> RACHEL: I’m in some sort of...tunnel?

[STICKY FOOTSTEPS]

>> RACHEL: It’s a bit sticky … Oh I’m high up inside a nose.

[SNIFF SNIFF]

>> RACHEL: It’s dark in here and I can’t really see that much but parts of the nose are getting excited.

[XYLOPHONE TRILL]

>> RACHEL: And they are taking in little bits of the air and turning them into messages for my brain.

[COMPUTER BEEPS]

What is this nose doing? What do I spy?

[MUSIC BEGINS]

>> RACHEL: Find out after you Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>> RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth too.

>> RACHEL: So What do I spy?

>> GROUP: A nose smelling!

>> RACHEL: Most humans can smell at least one trillion smells! That’s SO MANY smells. That means our sense of smell is almost working to give us information about the world. Whenever you take a whiff…

[SNIFF]

>> RACHEL: -you receive a message that tells you something about what’s around you.

[MUSIC ENDS]
