>> Rachel: Hey, It’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

It’s Mythical Creatures week on Chompers and tonight we even more riddles about make-believe animals.

Pick a side on the top of your mouth, and start brushing the inside, outside, and chewing side of each tooth.

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 Brush!

>> Rachel: Here is your first riddle:

I’m a mix of many animals

A monstrous hybrid creature

Part lion, goat and snake

I’m a three-headed fire-breather.

Which mythical creature am I?

>> KIDS: Chimera.

>> Rachel: The stories about Chimera say that she breathes fire and has three heads … a head of a lion, a head of a snake, and a head of a goat!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and give your tongue a brush too!

Here your next riddle:

I’m in many old folktales

Like one called “Puss in Boots”

I’m an ugly, clumsy giant

And I behave like a brute

What am I?

>> KIDS: An ogre!

>> Rachel: Ogres aren’t real but they show up in a lot of stories, including Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio and The Hobbit.

Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth, and make sure to reach the molars in the way back.

Here’s another riddle:

I have a human body on top

And like a bird, I have wings

I want to capture sailors!

And that’s why I sing.

What Am I?

>> KIDS: A siren!

>> Rachel: Myths say that Sirens are a creature that live on islands in the sea. They have bird-like voices, and they sing so beautifully that they hypnotize sailors.

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and keep brushing!

Here’s one last riddle for tonight:

A small person with a pointy hat

I live underground

Or find me in the garden

Where I can run around
