>> RACHEL: Good morning,  it’s time for Chompers! Your twice daily toothbrushing show.

Start on the top of your mouth on one side, and brush the inside, outside, and chewing side of every tooth

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> RACHEL: It’s Feelings Week, and today we’re playing I Spy. I’ll describe a feeling and you have to guess what it is!

Here’s your first I SPY

It’s night time and the sky is dark blue and speckled with bright stars. (SFX crickets) It’s so beautiful … you just don’t see every day. I see a man looking up at it and saying (WOWWWW). His jaw and eyes are wide open! (SFX GULP)

How does this man feel?

>>GROUP: Wow!

>> RACHEL: Find out after you switch to the other side of the top of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard.

You’re feeling amazed - or amazement. We can feel amazed when something really beautiful happens - something so beautiful that we don’t know what to say! (SFX) We can also feel amazed when something surprising happens - something that we didn’t know about, maybe something mysterious, or something that we can’t really explain, or that is hard to believe! (SFX kids amazed) That’s amazement!

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and give your tongue a brush, too.

Here’s your next I Spy:

Ok, I see a man in his kitchen. He’s cooking all sorts of yummy stuff. Oh, I see a birthday cake. He must be getting ready for a birthday party! The man is smiling and whistling (SFX) and bouncing around in his kitchen. Man, this dude can’t stay still, not even for a second!

How does this man feel?

>> GROUP: EXCITED!

>> RACHEL: Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth and brush the molars in the back, too.

Feeling excited - or excitement - can fill us with joy and lots of energy. (SFX)  It’s the total opposite of being bored! (SFX YAY) Sometimes feeling excited keeps us from being able to stay still!  Excitement can make us jump out of our seat! (SFX fly, head take) When we’re excited, we often can’t think about anything other than the exciting thing - it gets all of our attention!

Thanks for giving us your attention during Chompers. You’ve done a great job brushing and now it’s time to

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit.
