Rise and shine, it's time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

Start brushing on the top of your mouth, and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth

3, 2, 1 brush!

It’s Cities Week, and today we’ve got some riddles for you.

Here’s your first one:

I’m a city building,

So tall I touch the sky

Going way up into the clouds

I’m named for being so high.

What is this? Shout it out.

A SKYSCRAPER!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and brush your molars in the back too.

People live and work in skyscrapers. Skyscrapers are VERY tall buildings. SO tall that it looks like they’re stretching from the ground to reach and scrape the sky. That’s why we call them sky-scrapers.

The tallest skyscraper is in the city of Dubai. It has more than 160 floors and goes up to two thousand seven hundred and seventeen feet. That’s higher than some mountains!

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and brush your front teeth too.

Here’s your next riddle:

When you flush the toilet, your poop goes to me.

I get rid of waste water!

From your evening bath,

To your morning tea

What is this riddle about? Shout it out!

A SEWER!

Switch to the other side of bottom of your mouth, and make little circles with your brush around each tooth.

When you flush the toilet the water, poop and pee (- what we call SEWAGE - goes down a pipe and flows underground to join other pipes with even MORE sewage - which means more poop and pee (yuck). And it all flows like a river into a bigger pipe.

In cities, sewage normally goes through the pipes to a place where it gets cleaned and recycled. The city of Singapore cleans its sewage so well that you can DRINK it!

>> Kid: what?

No really, I’m not kidding!

That’s it for Chompers today, but we’ll be back tonight with more riddles. Until then, 3, 2, 1 spit!
