Robots might seem like something from the future but real robots are being used today all the time!
They come in different shapes, sizes, and designs. Some robots look or act just like people. These kinds of human-like robots are called androids or humanoids.

Not all robots look like humans. Some are only a robot arm and hand.
Like factory robots -- also called industrial robots. They put stuff together. Like making food or building cars..

>>RACHEL: Factory robots are helpful to humans because they can do the same job over and over without getting bored.

>>RACHEL: and give your tongue a brush too. Robots can also explore places that are too dangerous or difficult for humans to visit. Like deep in the ocean or outer space.
