Laugh your way all the way to school with this morning's school jokes!

Where to Listen

>>RACHEL: Good morning Chompions! It’s time for Chompers, your twice daily tooth brushing show. You’re just about ready for school, how about we brush our teeth first?

Start brushing on one side of the top of your mouth, and brush the inside, outside, and chewing side of each tooth.

>>KIDS: 3-2-1 Brush!

>>RACHEL: It’s School Week, and today we’ve got the schoolyard sillies with some jokes for you! Ready for you first one?

Why did the BUBBLE always stay home sick from school?

>>KID: Why?

>>RACHEL: She was afraid of POP quizzes!

>>RACHEL: Get it! A POP quiz would be a bubble’s worst nightmare!

>>RACHEL: I’ll explain after you switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth too.

A pop quiz is sort of like a surprise!

>>RACHEL: Some teachers might see if you know what’s happening in class by SURPRISING you with a QUIZ!

>>RACHEL: That’s called a pop quiz! A pop quiz can help you see how well you’re understanding what you’re learning in class. If things don’t go well on the quiz, then you know what to work on!

>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and keep brushing!

Here’s your next joke:

What did the BUILDER keep in his backpack?

Construction paper!

>>RACHEL: Builders work in CONSTRUCTION. That’s like ...making houses, or roads! (SFX SAW/Hammer)  You can’t use construction paper to make a house to live in, but you can use it for an arts and crafts project. You can draw what your house looks like, or make a map with roads, or make a portrait of your dog…

>>RACHEL: -or whatever you want!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth too.

Here’s one last joke:

Why did the GHOST love the library?

>>KID: Why?

>>RACHEL: Because it was full of BOOOOOO-ks!

>>RACHEL: But hey, doesn’t everyone love the library? Where else can you find that many stories?

>>KID: A Skyscraper!

>>RACHEL: Oh I get it! Because a tall building like a skyscraper has many stories, or floors! Good one!

>>RACHEL: Alright, we’re done for today. Time to-

>>KIDS: 3-2-1 Spit!
