>>RACHEL: It’s Everybody Week, and today we are celebrating our differences, with a story called: The Case of the Missing Turtle.
[MUSIC BEGINS]
[BIRDS CHIRP]
>>RACHEL: It was a regular Monday morning at Midwood Elementary school when three best friends Erin, Kat, and Bo arrived to their classroom.
[SCHOOL BELL RINGS]
>>RACHEL: Bo held the door open for Erin, who uses a wheelchair,. and Kat spotted something... off, in the back of the room.
>>KAT: Bo! I think the class turtle is missing!
>>BO: Oh no, you’re right. Where is Lightning?
>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>>RACHEL: - and don’t forget the molars in the way back. Erin moved over to the tank in the corner of the room only to find:
>>ERIN: You’re right, Lightning is GONE!
>>RACHEL: She turned her wheelchair around just in time to see their teacher, Mr. Chipper, come into the classroom.
[DOOR OPENS AND FOOTSTEPS]
>>MR. CHIPPER: (depressed) Good morning Class.
>>ERIN: Quick, Kat you have to distract Mr. Chipper while Bo and I go find Lightning!
>>BO: Oh no, I hope no one gets in trouble.
>>MR. CHIPPER: Today we’re- why are we all gathered around Lightning’s tank?
[MUSIC ENDS]
>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>>RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth to. Kat decided to try to distract Mr.Chipper by telling some of her famous jokes!
[MUSIC BEGINS]
>>KAT: Maybe you’ve seen me pull a rabbit out of a hat, but how about a turtle from a lunch box? (nervous laughter)
>>MR. CHIPPER: What.
>>RACHEL: Meanwhile, Erin and Bo snuck out of the back of the room to go look for Lightning. Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>>RACHEL: -and keep brushing.
>>KAT: By the time Lightning crawls outta here we’re all gonna be in middle school!
[DOOR CLOSES]
>>ERIN: Bo, think! If you were lightning, where would you want to go?
>>BO: Well, whenever I get really anxious, I like to go sit in the library.
>>ERIN: That’s it! Come on, lets go!
>>RACHEL: Erin began wheeling down the hall towards the library. She can be really quick in her wheelchair when she wants to be, and Bo had to run behind her to keep up!
>>BO: ERIN! WAIT UP!
>>RACHEL: Were they able to find Lightning before Kat ran out of turtle jokes? Where was this turtle hiding anyways? Find out how they find Lightning on tonight’s episode of Chompers.
