[THEME SONG BEGINS]

>>RACHEL: Good morning Chompions! It’s time for Chompers, your twice daily tooth brushing show. It’s School Week, and today we have a story for you!

But first, start your brushing on the top of your mouth, pick a side, and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth.

3-2-1 Brush!

[THEME SONG ENDS]

>>RACHEL: It was a normal Monday for most of the kids at Midwood Elementary, but Roger and his family had just moved to Midwood from far away, and he was nervous for his first day at school. It was almost time for recess by the time Roger arrived at Mr. Chipper’s classroom.

>>ROGER: Hello?

>>RACHEL: Mr. Chipper, the teacher, greeted the new student.

>>MR. CHIPPER: You must be Roger! Please, come in.

>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>RACHEL: -and give your tongue a brush too.

>>MR. CHIPPER: Everybody, I’d like you to meet Roger. He’s going to be joining our class. Want to tell us anything about yourself Roger?

>>ROGER: I like… writing poems.

>>MR. CHIPPER: Great! We write lots of poems in this class. Well, you’ll be sitting over here next to Erin.

>>ERIN: Hi! That’s so cool that you write poems!

>>RACHEL: Roger was so nervous that he didn’t say anything at all to Erin. This confused her, because she was only trying to be nice.

Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>RACHEL: -and don’t forget your front teeth. The bell rang for recess, and everyone ran outside to play... except for Roger.

>>ERIN: Hey Roger, want to come play?

>>ROGER: I’ll just… maybe I’ll meet you out there.

>>RACHEL: Erin, shrugged and wheeled out to recess, leaving Roger alone in the classroom. Mr. Chipper wanted to know what was on Roger’s mind.

>>MR. CHIPPER: Hey there, how’s it going so far Roger?

>>ROGER: It’s going alright. I just… I miss my old school.

>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>RACHEL: -and don’t forget the molars in the way back.

>>MR. CHIPPER: I bet. But hey, we have a really fun playground. Do you want to go outside for recess?

>>ROGER: Not really.

>>MR. CHIPPER: You know, I noticed Erin asked you to play. She's a really nice person.

>>ROGER: She does seem really nice. I just didn’t know what to say to her. I got nervous.

>>MR. CHIPPER: I understand. Hey, I have an idea… I’ll be right back, okay?

>>ROGER: Uh, alright.

[THEME SONG BEGINS]

>>RACHEL: What could Mr. Chipper be planning to help Roger feel more at home at his new school? Find out on tonight’s Chompers! But first…
