[THEME SONG BEGINS]

>> RACHEL: Welcome back, it’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

Start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth.

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

[THEME SONG ENDS]

>> RACHEL: It’s Cooking Week, and tonight we’ve whipped up more flavorful I Spies for you. We’ll describe something, and you’ll have to guess what it is. Here’s your first one:

I’m making soup for dinner...

[BUBBLES]

>> RACHEL: -and I have a big pot on the stove. I taste the soup from the pot...

[SLURP]

>> RACHEL: -but it doesn’t taste quite right! So, I grab a few little containers from the shelf, and I sprinkle some colorful powder into the soup…

[SHAKE]

>> RACHEL: What do I spy? What did I sprinkle in my soup?

[MUSIC BEGINS]

>> RACHEL: Find out after you switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth...

[SWITCH BELL]

>> RACHEL: -and brush your molars in the way back.

So what was that thing I spied?

>> KID: Spices!

>> RACHEL: Spices! We use spices to make food more flavorful. Some common spices are salt, pepper, paprika, and cinnamon.

[SHAKE]

>> RACHEL: Each spice has its own unique flavor, and it’s fun to try new ones every time you cook.

Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth...

[SWITCH BELL]

>> RACHEL: -but don’t brush too hard.

[MUSIC ENDS]

>> RACHEL: Time for the next I Spy.

The next thing I spy is very cold.

[TEETH CHATTERING]

>> RACHEL: It has a door, and when I open it...

[DOOR OPEN]

>> RACHEL: I see ice cream, ice cubes, veggies in bags, some leftover pasta sauce I made a month ago.

So what do I spy?

[MUSIC BEGINS]

>> KID: A Freezer.

>> RACHEL: A freezer!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>> RACHEL: -and brush all the way around each tooth.

Freezers are even colder than refrigerators and are great for storing stuff like ice cream, ice and frozen veggies. You can use freezers for a lot of different types of food. Try putting bananas in the freezer.

>> KID: WHY?

>> RACHEL: Once they’re frozen, you can mash them up in a bowl to make banana ice cream!

>> KIDS: Yummmm!

[MUSIC ENDS]
