We’re going to spend the week communicating about communication, and we’re starting things off with a quiz.

Communication is what we call sending and receiving information, or facts! Sometimes we want to communicate something big or important, like “I need to go to the bathroom RIGHT NOW!” (SFX: OH NO) and sometimes it’s not so important, like “I had a sandwich for lunch.” But either way, when we try to share what we’re thinking or feeling to someone else, it’s called communication.
Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth, and spit if you need to.
People communicate all the time. Sometimes we communicate by speaking with our voices, (SINGERS) and sometimes we communicate by writing with a pen and paper (SFX PEN). We might nod our heads to communicate that we’re saying “yes” or give someone a thumbs up to communicate “I agree”! We can even use TECHNOLOGY to communicate, like phones, televisions and the internet!
