Tongue Twisters Week Morning Betty Botter (9-15-2020)

Today we've got Chompion Eve helping us learn how to make our butter not bitter!

>> Rachel: Hey there it’s time to take out the trash! 


SFX kid: NO! 


>> Rachel: Oh wait, sorry it’s time for CHOMPERS, your twice daily toothbrushing show


Start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, and brush all the way to the molars in the back.


>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!


>> Rachel: It’s Tongue Twisters week, and today we’ve got Chompion Eve helping us learn a new tongue twister. 


Betty Botter bought a bit of butter

 

Ok now Eve, you try:


>> EVE: Betty botter bought a bit of butter


>> Rachel: Pretty easy right? Just wait though, there’s a lot more. 


But  first, switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and brush your front teeth too. 


Here’s the next part: 


But, she said, The butter's bitter; If I put it in my batter It will make my batter bitter 


Whew! That’s a lot! Give it a try! 


>> EVE: But, she said, The butter's bitter; If I put it in my batter It will make my batter bitter 


>> Rachel: Alright, let’s put those parts together: 


>> Eve: Betty Botter bought a bit of butter,  But, she said, The butter's bitter; If I put it in my batter It will make my batter bitter.


>> Rachel: Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth, and don’t forget to keep on brushing! 


So there’s even more and here it is!


But, a bit of better butter Will make my batter better


Your turn! 


>> EVE: But, a bit of better butter Will make my batter better 


>> Rachel: Ok great, we are almost done but there is another part.


So, she bought a bit of butter Better than her bitter butter, And she put it in her batter And the batter was not bitter. 


Give it a try.

>> Rachel: Alright just one more part before we can put it all together.  Here it is.


And she put it in her batter, and her batter was not bitter.

Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and give your tongue a brush too. 


Let’s try to put it all together!


Betty Botter bought a bit of butter  But, she said (pause), 


>> Eve: The butter's bitter; If I put it in my batter It will make my batter bitter. But, a bit of better butter Will make my batter better. 


>> Rachel: So, she bought a bit of butter Better than her bitter butter, And she put it in her batter And the batter was not bitter. 


Oh boy, all this butter talk’s got me kinda hungry! (SFX RUMBLING STOMACH)
