>> Rachel: Good morning! It’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.
Pick a side on the top of your mouth and make sure you’re brushing in small circles around each tooth.
>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 Brush!
>> Rachel: Are jokes just as funny in space as they are on Earth? We’re gonna find out! Because today we’re telling SPACE JOKES!
>> KIDS: Who’s there?
>> Rachel: Juno
>> KIDS: Juno Who?
>> Rachel: Juno who it is! It’s Juno, the space probe! (SFX Rimshot)
Juno is the name of a space probe sent to the planet Jupiter by NASA. Scientists send space probes into space so they can get information and send it back to earth.
Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth (SFX), and make sure you’re brushing all the way to your back teeth!
Here’s your next joke:
How do you throw a great outer space party?
>> KIDS: How?
>> Rachel: Ya Planet (SFX Laughter)
There are lots of things floating around in space, but only SOME of them can be called planets. Most planets orbit around a star, like the Sun. So the moon doesn't count as a planet, because it orbits around earth.
Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and give those front teeth a brush too!
Here’s another joke:
How do you get an asteroid to relax?
>> KIDS: How?
>> Rachel: Comet down. (SFX Rimshot)
Asteroids are mostly made of rock and metal, and Comets are mostly made of ice and dust. Comets have ice because they are formed far away from the heat of the sun.
Give your tongue a brush too.(SFX) And switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth SWITCH SFX.
Here’s your last joke:
Why couldn’t Emma go to space?
>> KIDS: Why?
>> Rachel: Well her mom ASTRONAUT to.
Those are the jokes folks. (SFX RIMSHOT) Just so Juno, you can share these jokes today if you want to!
Great job brushing! Come back tonight for more silly space jokes and until then, rinse your mouth and
>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!
