It’s Robot Week! And we asked you Chompions - If you could build a robot that could do ANYTHING -- what would you have it do? So today we’re talking about how some of you would program your personal robot.
>>RACHEL: But first, start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, but don’t brush too hard.
>>KIDS: 3, 2,1 brush!
>>RACHEL: Chores are a bore! Am I right? And some of you say you would build a robot to help clean up around the house. Thad wants a robot to pick up his toys and Evangeline’s robot would do the dishes.
Jackson says, even if he built his own robot, he would still wipe down the dinner table himself. He wouldn’t want the cleaning spray to get his robot wet, and make it malfunction…
[SHORT CIRCUIT SFX]
>>RACHEL: We have two words for you, Jackson - Robot. Raincoat.
[Zipper]
>>RACHEL: Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and keep on brushing.
Sam, Leo, Cora, Chloe, Violet, and Henry all want robots to clean their room. Benjamin would build a robot to make his bed. Annelyse says her room-cleaning robot would look like a robot bunny
[Springy SFX]
>>RACHEL: Robots don’t only have to do work for us. Taylor would build a robot to dance with! And Drew wants a robot to play baseball
[HOME RUN SFX]
>>RACHEL: Brynn wants a robot to do crafts and Liam wants a robot that would pick flowers for him.
Switch to the bottom of your mouth…
[SWITCH BELL]
>>RACHEL: and brush the molars in the way back.
Here’s some FOOD for thought. Henry would build a robot to make all his favorite foods. Miles wants his robot to make pie and hot chocolate…
[SLURP]
>>RACHEL: Elijah’s robot would make him an omelet.
[SIZZLE]
>>RACHEL: Anton doesn’t want his robot to MAKE food. He wants it to EAT food! Anton says his robot would hide under the dinner table and eat the food he doesn’t like, especially zucchini and olives.
[CHOMP]
>>RACHEL: Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth too.
Robots could also help with animals at home. Mara would build a robot to translate what her cats say so she can talk to them and understand them…
[MEOW]
>>RACHEL: Emery says their grandma has FOUR dogs, so they want a robot to walk all of them.
[BARK!]
