It’s Mythical Creatures Week on Chompers, and today we’ve got riddles about mythical creatures!  Remember, mythical creatures aren’t really real. They’re only make-believe.

Start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, and make sure to reach the molar teeth all the way in the back.

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 Brush!

>> Rachel: Here’s your first riddle:

A scary guy, who’s scared of the sun

My front teeth have long fangs

I’m like bat, I can fly

And upside is how I hang

What am I?

>> KIDS: A vampire!

>> Rachel: Guys, Don’t worry, vampires are not real! They’re only stories! But in the stories about vampires if you carry garlic, they’ll stay away.

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth (SFX), and and don’t forget those front teeth!

Here’s your next riddle:

I am a shape-shifter

Who turns from a person into a wolf

But only at a certain time:

When the moon is FULL!

What am I?

>> KIDS: A werewolf!

>> Rachel: Switch to the bottom of your mouth on one side, but don’t brush too hard. (SFX)

Here’s your last riddle:

An ugly, spiny, hairless dog

I walk around on 4 feet

I’m sort of like a vampire

I drink the blood of goats and sheep

What am I?

>> KIDS: A Chupacabra!

>> Rachel: Chupacabras aren’t real, but animal scientists say what people THOUGHT was a chupacabra is likely just coyotes or dogs that didn’t have any hair.
