>> Rachel: It’s Communication Week on Chompers, and tonight we’ve got more riddles about things that help us communicate.

Ready for your first one?

I’m printed every day

You turn to me for news

There’s something here for everyone

In the section that you choose!

What am I?

>> GROUP: : A Newspaper!

>> Rachel: A Newspaper!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and brush your front teeth too!

A NEWSPAPER is a way that people read about what’s happening in the world around them. We call that, the NEWS! We might know what's happening with our family because we communicate with them every day. But the NEWS and NEWSPAPERS make it possible to know what's happening in the rest of the world too, with people that we don’t know at all!

Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth, and spit if you need to!

Ready for your next riddle?

I’m on at night and in the morning

Local news or nationwide

I have all the breaking stories

Sports and weather, side by side

What am I?

>> GROUP: : TV News!

>> Rachel: TV News!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and keep brushing!

TV News is kind of like the newspaper, but on TV! News programs tell different stories about things that are happening in nearby cities, or around the world. TV News is a good way to communicate important information to a TON of people all at the same time. If a  storm is coming or if there's a big scientific discovery, you might hear about it on the TV news.

That’s all the news we have for today, but come back tomorrow for more communication. Until then,

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit!!
