[THEME SONG BEGINS]

>>RACHEL: Hey there! Let’s get toothbrushing because it’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

Start on the top of your mouth, pick a side, and brush all the way to the molars in the back.

3, 2, 1 brush

It’s Teeth Week, and tonight we've got more riddles. Here’s your first one:

My name tells you I’m wise

But really I’m just late

I might not even ever come out

Since I don’t have a due date

What is this? Shout it out:

[MUSIC BEGINS]

>>KID: WISDOM TEETH!

>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth, too.

Wisdom teeth are the teeth that in the very back of your mouth. Still in the gums!  And they  come out very late, when you’re a teenager or grownup. So don’t worry about brushing them now - you probably don’t even have them yet! And sometimes wisdom teeth never  show up! Some scientists think that in the future, humans will no longer grow wisdom teeth!

>>KIDS: What?!

[MUSIC ENDS]

>>RACHEL: Switch to the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>RACHEL: -and keep on brushing.

Here’s your next riddle:

I’m a tooth with no roots

On an animal in the sea

And  when I fall out

Another tooth takes over for me.

What is this? Shout it out?

[MUSIC BEGINS]

>>KID: SHARK TEETH!

>>RACHEL: Shark teeth!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

[SWITCH BELL]

>>RACHEL: -and brush the inside, outside, and chewing side of each tooth.

Look in the mirror. See how your teeth are all lined up in one row. Well if you were a shark you wouldn't have just one row of teeth, you would have LOTS of rows hidden behind the ones the ones in the front.

[XYLOPHONE]

>>RACHEL: -up to 15 rows!

>>KID: WOW!

>>RACHEL: That’s because sharks lose their teeth all the time - one chomp-

[CHOMP]

and a tooth can fall out! (SFX)  And the tooth behind takes the spot.

MUX OUT
