>> Rachel: Good morning! It’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show.

It’s Mythical Creatures Week! And we’re using our imagination to learn about some imaginary things.

Pick a side on the top of your mouth, and make little circles with your brush all the way around each tooth.

>> KIDS: 3 2 1 Brush!

>> Rachel: This week is all about the make-believe.  Sometimes it can be hard to tell what’s real and what’s pretend … so we’re going to play a game where we figure that out! It’s TRUE or FALSE.  We’re going to tell you something about mythical creatures, and you have to make a guess if it’s TRUE or FALSE . If you think it’s TRUE, give us a thumbs up! If you think it’s FALSE, give a thumbs down.

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and make sure to reach the molars all the way in the back of your mouth.

Okay here’s your first one. True or False:

In Chinese culture, the dragon is a very important mythical creature. Dragons are so important that people do something called a "dragon dance" in group celebrations like parades and festivals.

If you think it’s true, gives us a thumbs up . If you think it’s false, give a thumbs down.

Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth.  Pick a side, but also make sure to brush your front teeth too!

Ready for the answer? The answer is - It’s True! The dragon dance is a real dance performed by a group of dancers all wearing the SAME dragon costume!

Here’s another one: The idea of the VAMPIRE comes from vampire BATS!

Do you think that’s True or False? Thumbs up or Thumbs down?

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, but don’t brush too hard.

Ready for the answer? That’s False!

Vampires do NOT get their name from vampire bats. It’s actually the other way around. Vampire bats get their name from the mythical creature.

There are old folktales about vampires. But those stories are from A LONG time ago ... before scientists started using the name "vampire bats."

That’s it for Chompers. You get a thumbs up for brushing! Now all you have to do is rinse with water and

>> KIDS: 3, 2,1 spit!
