It’s Stories week and Today we’ve got a story about Mia the space explorer.
But first, pick a side on the top of your mouth, and start brushing in small circles all the way around each tooth.

BRUSH!
[SFX DREAM HARP]
Mia the space explorer was visiting the planet Horizon when she heard a loud crash. [CRASH SFX]
M: What was that??
She turned and saw a wrecked SPACESHIP. As the smoke cleared, a small blue creature, about the size of a dog, crawled out. He was covered in FEATHERS! And he walked on two feet!
M: Hey! Are you okay?!
B: [DEEP VOICE] (unclear sfx)
Mia couldn’t understand him. It looked like he was alright. But his ship was ruined.
SWITCH HERE NOW
M: Let’s get you back to my spaceship! I can give you a ride back home!
Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth,
[SFX Switch Bell]
and don’t forget those front teeth.
Mia fired up her ship’s rockets and turned to her new blue, feathery friend, and said:
M: Where to little guy?
B: [DEEP VOICE] (unclear)
Hmm. If Mia couldn’t understand the little blue guy, how would she get him back home? Then she had an idea!
M: How about this: I’ve been exploring this solar system. Let’s stop at some nearby planets and see if they look familiar to you.
He seemed to agree:
B: ([DEEP VOICE] unclear affirmative).
And they buckled up their seatbelts, and took off for a nearby planet!
Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth.
[SFX Switch Bell]
Give your tongue a brush too.
The first planet was Flatulus. it was HUGE! And … smelly.
B: [DEEP VOICE] (unclear but grossed out)
M: Peeeee ---uuuu! It smells like rotten eggs here! This planet must be one of those gas giants.
They pinched their noses.
M: (pinched nose) Does this look like home?
B: (pinched nose) ([DEEP VOICE] clear negative)
M: (pinched nose) Yeah I didn’t think so either. Let’s go before I barf!
And they zoomed off.
Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth
[SFX Switch Bell]
but don’t brush TOO hard.
Their next stop was the planet Zirconia. They stepped out of the spaceship into a light rain … but no ordinary rain.
M: WHOA! It’s raining DIAMONDS!
It was so beautiful and sparkly that Mia didn’t even notice the wind was blowing harder.
B: [DEEP VOICE] (warning)
M: What is it buddy?
Mia looked up -- the diamond rain had turned into a sparkling tornado, and it was heading their way!
B: Uh oh…
