>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Jasmine: Its world week, where every day of the week we talk to someone from a different part of the world. Today our friend Sarah is here to talk to us about Libya, the country where her family is from.

>> Jasmine: Sarah where are you from?

>> Sarah: My family is from Libya.

>> Jasmine: And where in the world is Libya?

Libya is in North Africa, its across from Italy, between Egypt and Tunisia.

>> Jasmine: So Africa is a big place, with lots of countries in it, and Libya is right at the top.

>> Sarah: Yeah,

Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth, and brush the molars in the way back

>> Jasmine: What does it look like in Libya?

>> Sarah: It's very dry. Some of its desert, some of its mountains, some of its green but not a lot of it. There’s beautiful beaches, one whole side of the country is coastal, so there are beautiful sandy beaches with clear, clear water.

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and give your tongue a brush too.

>> Jasmine:  Oh are there any foods from Libya that you really enjoy?

>> Sarah: Yes, The village where my family is from grows fig trees. And they're the most delicious figs that I've ever had.

>> Jasmine: What's a fig??

>> Sarah: A fig is a fruit, ummm, sometimes they're green, sometimes they are kinda purple, sometimes they're brown,  they have a lot of little seeds on the inside. They look kinda crazy but they are delicious.

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, but don't brush too hard

>> Jasmine: What language do the people in Libya speak?

>> Sarah: Most people in Libya speak Arabic.

>> Jasmine: How do you say 3, 2, 1 spit?

>> Sarah: flatha, thneen, wahed, uthval!

>> Jasmine: Ok so what's three?

>> Sarah: Flatha.

>> Jasmine: Flatha. And then?

>> Sarah: Theen.

>> Jasmine: thneen

>> Sarah: Wahed

>> Jasmine: Wahed

>> Sarah: Uthval

>> Jasmine: That’s it for Chompers today, but come back tonight to learn more Arabic from Sarah. Until then Sarah count us off
