>> Rachel: Welcome back to Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show!

Start brushing on the top of your mouth. Pick a side, and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth.

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Rachel: It’s Poetry Week, and tonight we’ve got more jokes!

Here’s your first one:

Why won’t Zac write poetry?

>> Kids: WHY??

>> Rachel: He can’t stanza poetry

>> ZAC: I don’t get it.

>> Rachel: Oh hey Zac! I didn’t see you there. I’ll explain after you Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth(SFX bell), but don't brush too hard

Ok so A STANZA is a group of lines in a poem.  After a stanza you’ll see some blank space on the page which means you can take a breathe before you read the next group of lines.

>> ZAC: Oh … so that’s the joke. Stanza sounds like stand.  You’re saying I don’t write poetry because I can’t STAND it. AND a STANZA is a group of lines in a poem. I get it! I cant STANZA poetry.

>> Rachel: You got it!

>> ZAC: [mumbling under his breath] so you don’t think I can write poetry .. I’ll show you.

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and keep brushing.

Ok, ready for another joke?

>> ZAC: [interrupting] Ok, I wrote one.

>> Rachel: What?

>> ZAC: I wrote a poem.

>> Rachel: Oh .. ok? Do you want to share it?

>> ZAC: YES. Thank you.

>> Rachel: Ok, can you wait until we Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and brush the molars in the way back.

>> ZAC: Alright, everyones brushing, right? Can I read it now?

>> Rachel: Sure, go for it.

>> ZAC: I wrote a poem

But I do not know its name

Haiku’d I not know

>> Rachel: ZAC! That’s so clever! That poem is a haiku - it’s got 5 beats in the first line, 7 beats in the second line, and 5 beats in the last line!

>> ZAC: See, I CAN “stanza” poetry!

>> Rachel: That’s it for Chompers tonight, you did a great job brushing. We’ll back back tomorrow with more Poetry Week, but until then, rinse with water and
