>> Rachel: Good morning, it’s time for Chompers! Your twice daily toothbrushing show.

Start brushing on the top of your mouth. Pick a side, and brush in little circles around each tooth

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Rachel: It’s Cities Week, and today we’re playing I Spy. I’ll describe what I spy, and you get to guess what it is!

Here’s your first one:

I see a train stopping right in front of a crowd of people. The doors are opening. People are rushing in and out. Oh the doors are closing already! And off the trains goes!

What do I spy?

Find out after you switch to the other side of the top of your mouth but don;t brush too hard.

So, what do I spy?

>> Kids: The subway!

>> Rachel: Many cities all over the world have trains to get around the city. These are often called subways or metros. People use these trains to go from one place to another. Some of the trains travel through tunnels and stop at stations that are often deep underground -- that’s why they’re called SUBways -- SUB means UNDER.

Some of the trains are automated. That means they are driven by a computer!

Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and give your tongue a brush too.

Here’s your next I Spy:

I see a small room packed to the brim with people. Wait a minute. The room is MOVING!!!!! I look out the window and I see … the ground is very very far below … we’re up HIGH in the sky. It’s sort of like being on a roller coaster, but not scary!

What is this room? What do I spy?

>> Kids: A GONDOLA!

>> Rachel: Switch to the other side of the bottom of your mouth and brush the molars in the back too.

A gondola is like an elevator that's outside, it travels on a cable up in the air. If you’ve ever seen a ski lift it’s kind of like that. But some cities with steep hills use gondolas. The gondolas help people who live way up in the hills travel directly to the center of the city. Gondolas don’t have to stop at a stop light like a bus does!

That's it for Chompers tonight, but come back tomorrow for more cities. Until then,

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 spit.
