It’s Robot week, and today we’ve got some I SPIES for you. I’ll describe a place where you might find a robot and you have to guess what place I’m talking about. But first:
Start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, and brush the molars in the way back too.

>>GROUP: A library!
>>RACHEL: A library!

>>RACHEL: and make little circles with your brush around each tooth.
Roboticists have invented a robotic librarian that scans shelves to see if the books are missing or in the wrong place. Then the robot gives that info to human librarians so they can find and replace the books.
This robot is helpful because it saves humans time searching for missing books.

I’m sitting in a room that looks like a fancy bedroom. I see TWO large beds, a TV, a small desk, and a comfy reading chair. I also see a mini refrigerator on the floor. All of a sudden I hear…

Robots all over the world are helping hotel workers do jobs like cleaning rooms and providing room service. A robot named Relay can automatically deliver items like snacks, towels, and toothbrushes to guest rooms. In the country of Japan, a hotel welcomes guests at the front desk using robotic dinosaurs.
