>>Rachel: Good Morning. It’s time for Chompers, your morning and night toothbrushing show. Today, our friend Jasmine is here with a special interview! Jasmine, take it away!

>> Jasmine: Thanks! Start brushing on the top of your mouth on one side, and make little circles with your brush around each tooth.

>> KIDS: 3, 2, 1 brush!

>> Jasmine: It’s Music Week on Chompers, so I talked to a professional musician to answer the amazing musical questions YOU sent in to us.

>> Andrew: Hello there, My name is Andrew W.K.. I'm a rock and roll musician and a professional partier.

(Music In)

>> Jasmine: Andrew WK makes songs about his favorite things: partying and having fun. Some of his most popular songs are “Party Hard,” “It’s time to Party” and “Party Party Party.” We asked him your questions about music.

Switch to the other side of the top of your mouth, but make sure your not brushing too hard

So this question comes from a kid named Henry, what is a musician?

>> ANDREW: A musician is someone who makes music played usually on an instrument. But even the human voice can make music. So as long as you're making music you're a musician.

>> Jasmine: And what instrument do you play mostly?

>> ANDREW: Really Piano is my main instrument. and I really like it because with a piano or with a keyboard a synthesizer you can make so many different sounds

>> Jasmine: Switch to the bottom of your mouth, and keep on brushing

Neil Patrick asked “why do you make music”

>> ANDREW: The best feelings that I can ever imagine having seemed to be kind of connected to the feeling of music when you make music or play music or even just listen to music. it's a powerful feeling. It's something that makes you want to dance. It makes you want to sing along. It makes you feel glad about being alive. And that's what I get out of music.

>> Jasmine: Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth, and make sure not to brush too fast

Henry and Audrey wanted to know what makes Uptown Funk such a great song.

>> ANDREW: It's difficult to say what makes a song good. Just like people like different kinds of food. Some people like pepperoni on the pizza. Some people don't. Does that mean pepperoni pizza is good. And cheese pizza only is bad. In a way. Everybody's right. So if someone likes a certain song and someone else doesn't that doesn't mean one person has wrong or the other one is right. You get to decide what you like based on how it makes you feel

>> Jasmine: Youre all done brushing for this morning, but Andrew WK will be back with more answers to your music questions tonight! Until then...

>>KIDS: 3, 2, 1, spit!
