Where to Listen

>>RACHEL: Welcome back to Chompers, your morning and night tooth brushing show! Start brushing on the top of your mouth, pick and side and brush the inside, outside and chewing side of each tooth.

>>KIDS: 3-2-1 Brush!

>>RACHEL: It’s School Week, and today we have the second half of our story about Roger, the new kid at Midwood Elementary. Last we left our story, Roger was too nervous to join the other students outside for recess, but his teacher, Mr. Chipper had an idea.

He ran outside to find Erin.

>>MR. CHIPPER: Hey Erin, I need your help with something. Remember our new student Roger?

>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the other side of the top of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and brush your front teeth too.

>>ERIN: Yeah, Mr Chipper. I don’t get it, I thought I was trying to be a new friend but he didn’t seem interested in playing with me.

>>MR. CHIPPER:  Well, Roger’s a bit nervous. Moving to a new school can be really tough. It’s not that he didn't want to be your friend, he just didn't know what to say. So, I have an idea for how we can help.

>>RACHEL: Switch your brushing to the bottom of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and give your tongue a brush too.

Meanwhile, back in the classroom, Roger was sitting at his desk, thinking about his friends at his old school. When, all of the sudden...

a frisbee glided through the door and into the classroom.

>>RACHEL: Roger got up to go get it, as Erin and Mr. Chipper rushed in!

>>ERIN: Roger, you found the frisbee! Wanna play?

>>RACHEL: Roger thought it was funny that Erin had a frisbee in the classroom.  He came over to play!

Switch your brushing to the other side of the bottom of your mouth…

>>RACHEL: -and brush the molars in the way back to.

Mr. Chipper didn’t usually let kids play frisbee in the classroom but he made special exception just this one time.

>>RACHEL: So, Roger and Erin played frisbee for the rest of recess….

>>MR. CHIPPER: I’m glad you’re joining our class Roger. But how about you play frisbee... outside tomorrow.

>>RACHEL: Erin and Roger laughed together, and helped to clean up the classroom before recess ended. As Roger sat down back at his seat, he turned to Erin to say:

>>ROGER: I think I’m going to like it here.

>>RACHEL: Well, recess is over, and so is Chomper’s today, but come back tomorrow for more clean teeth. Until then-

>>KID: 3-2-1 Spit!
